Long Trail Tales of Solomon and Other South Texas Beasts

A sprawling reminiscence covers Solomon the hog, a Dun pony, and a dog from South Texas. It follows Solomon’s life from 1878 through repeated journeys, homes, and iron wills, including a stubborn trek back to Petersen’s valley and a dog’s lonely 200 mile return to Brownsville.
