Encaracion Valencula a native of Mexico and Confederate veteran died at 5 40am at 527 Lombrang street at age 115 years He came to the United States before the Civil War and fought for the South settling in San Antonio He leaves no surviving relatives Funeral will be held at 9 o clock tomorrow from Bannervando Cathedral with burial in San Fernando Cemetery.

She was born in Louisiana and had lived in San Antonio for 11 years. Surviving are her mother Mrs TF Gilbert four sons Marvin Gilbert Jack and Joe Tan a daughter Miss Helen and several brothers. Funeral at 4 this afternoon from the family residence with Rev B Johnston of McKinley Avenue Methodist Church officiating. Interment in Mission Burial Park.
