Spur at Leon Springs to extend railroad line into reservation
War Department approves a Sap line spur to Leon Springs military reservation. Col Harry L. Rogers says work starts at once with the line reaching the boundary and extending later at government expense. About 2000 acres will be fenced for army stock pasture, with several thousand horses and mules placed at Fort Sam Houston remount depot. Storehouses for grain and other structures will be built at the spur terminus.
