Thieves Steal Car From In Front Of St Anthony Hotel
A two passenger automobile owned by Dr. W. E. Luter was stolen from in front of the St. Anthony hotel at 9 45 last night. The car was found abandoned at Cherry and Lamar streets early this morning. A medical case with instruments valued at $50 or more belonging to Dr. J. W. Goode was inside the car and not recovered.

Stolen horse returns home as police pursue
A horse hitched to a buggy stolen outside the Grand Opera House was found returning to William Maurer of Frank Brothers’ store at 5 this morning after more than six hours on the loose. Maurer reported the theft about 11:30 PM and a citywide description was broadcast. The animal was apparently driven overnight by an unknown person before being released.
