Motocycle Policeman Bennett made three arrests yesterday afternoon of persons returning from the Fair ground in automobiles on charges of speeding. Dave Jones a chauffeur was fined 10 dollars for speeding after a 25 mile per hour reading on Garden street. Jack Alien also fined 10 dollars on a speeding charge. W. T. Bolton Negro chauffeur fined 5 dollars for speeding and 5 dollars for failing to have proper lights.

Asylum Full Says Dr White to County Judge
Dr F S White, superintendent of the Southwestern Insane asylum, informs County Judge Phil Shook that the asylum is full and cannot receive more patients. The county must keep inmates in the jail, with about six currently confined in Bexar county jail. Additions last year expanded capacity to nearly 600 more patients, but demand from across the state remains high.
