Rotary tale shows boys work's personal impact at Edinburgh
A Buffalo Rotary Club speaker recounts a banker who mentored a troubled youth as a big brother. The boy asked to call him Dad, revealing the deep personal influence of Rotarys boys work. The anecdote frames Rotarys mission as building character in underprivileged youths, including physically handicapped ones, through direct service.
