The Medina Lake Toll Company of San Antonio filed its charter in the State Department. Capital stock is $25,750. The company intends to build a toll road in Medina County. Incorporators are Frank G. Groos J H Frost J W Warren M J Arnold and Albert Kronkosky.

Austin, Oct 7. The Texas Department of Agriculture issued Poultry Culture in Texas, highlighting rapid industry growth from 1899 to 1909 and projecting 1915 poultry and egg values around 24 million dollars. Commissioner Davis notes farm poultry is highly profitable with low capital and labor costs.
The YWCA education department lists varied classes with registrations open. Classes start October 16 including Spanish, domestic science, cookery, sewing, millinery, stenography, and a free glee club led by Miss Irene Hugman.
