Vill a not defeated El Paso report debunked
There is no truth in a claim that General Villa was defeated at Santa Rosalia. Villa left with troops over 20 days ago for the south. Rosalio Hernand ez led 600 as rear guard at Santa Rosalia to destroy the railroad and deter Federals. He faced Huertistas, opened fire, wounded and killed several, then retreated toward Santa Rosalia to lure main forces away. Federals found the town deserted.
