Sixty Scouts Attend Class for Petrol Leader Training
By mid December forty San Antonio Boy Scouts will know how to be petrol leaders. A special drill was held Saturday at 2 p.m. with junior assistant scout masters and patrol leaders present. The class meets at Scout Headquarters on Broadway each Saturday until December 14. New games, stunts and activities will be taught along with duties of patrol leaders. The class, organized as a special troop, had John Newton as scout master with Harry A. Kenster Paul A Kick and A C Wendell as senior patrol leaders. Carl Bryant will be another scout master. Eleven troops are represented so far.
