Maroons Hope to Rejoin League Title Race

District school principals meet Wednesday to set a date for the district committee hearing on Austin's protest. If Austin's protest against Kerrville stands, three teams Kenville Austin and Brackenridge contend for the title. A Friday Kerrville win could create a three way tie with total round robin scores deciding the winner. Brackenridge has 26 points in top games. Kerrville would clinch by defeating Austin if Wells' or West is upheld. An Austin win could eliminate Kerrville, leaving Austin and Brackenridge tied for the lead, with Brackenridge potentially taking the crown due to a previous win over Austin.
