Foreman killed as roof forms crush workers at Texas plant
A San Antonio foreman E J Hardwick died when two hundred eighty eight pre cast roof forms collapsed during an addition at Loop Cold Storage Co. Four other workers were injured, rushed to Baptist Hospital in satisfactory condition. Witnesses said Hardwick warned him he did not want to go underneath moments before the accident. Officials and investigators arrived as authorities described a mass of bent beams and shattered concrete in the storage facility addition.
