Three Juries At Work In 94th District Court

Three juries in the Ninety fourth District court were out Thursday afternoon, using temporary quarters. One jury was hung in a cage while the judge instructed a verdict. The regular jury room housed jurors in the J. J. Consinger murder case, out since Wednesday noon. Other juries considered cases against Robert Huerle charged with burglary. Harris pleaded guilty to the first charge, the judge instructed no verdict, and the jury later fixed a four year sentence. While that jury was out, Harris was called again, pled guilty, and an instructed verdict was given. The jury retired to Sheriff James Stevens’ office and returned after five minutes with a two year sentence. Harris faces seven years in Fort Worth in similar cases.
