Burglar duo steal Livermore home jewels in Long Island raid
Two well dressed burglars forced their way into Jesse L. Livermore’s King’s Point home at dawn. They stole 390,700 in jewels and cash, apologized during the break in, returned 262,000 in jewelry after pleas from Mrs Livermore and Mr Aronson, and left by a wall ladder after taking a watch and a sapphire ring. An abandoned neighbor’s car was later found in Manhasset.
