Ghostly visions at Nashotah Seminary stir mystic funeral eve
An account from Nashotah Wisconsin describes a reportedly haunted night at the Theological Seminary grounds. Apparitions, eerie noises, and a moving casket allegedly unsettled students and faculty during the eve prior to a funeral. A later inspection noted a round hole under the casket area and strange fires, with witnesses attributing the phenomena to phantasmagoric events rather than malice. The Breck photograph was taken, showing cemetery scenes and a figure resembling a deceased student noted in the reports.
