Vivid Scene of a Creature Stalking at Dusk
The narrator describes waiting for a dinner delivery when a sandy basin and a lurking marine predator emerge. The creature is portrayed as a whirl of motion, a dervish and dancer, likened to a cat on a hot tin roof as it prepares to strike.
Moonbound musings on Padre island fishing and space dreams
A narrator recounts fishing along Mustang Island with improvised gear and a curious judge who mistakes a flounder for a contraption. He notes Kennedy and moon missions as inspiration and imagines a space craft with built in comforts.
