Presbyterian minister found guilty of heresy in Atlantic City
Rev. William D. Grant of Northumberland Pa was found guilty by the Presbyterian general assembly commission for teaching doctrines contrary to the Bible and the Presbyterian confession. He faces suspension from ministerial duties until he proves to his Northumberland presbytery that he has renounced the errors and will stop teaching them. The assembly approved the commission’s judgment by a large margin. A separate move to renew the charge against Dr Williams Brown is to be heard after Rev Dr Erwin J Reinke of Philadelphia proposes a new hearing.
