M. leadership, rival bids faltering, and plans to expand prestige and mercantile appeal as understanding grows.
The White Goods Section advertises unusual values with mercerised lingerie batistes and satin checked lawns from 1946 at low prices. Sheer lawns and dot embroidered Swiss fabrics are offered at 15 to 25 cents, plus longcloth and nainsook at bargain bag prices.
