Drownings At New Braunfels Leave Two Dead
In New Braunfels Monday night two young people died after entering water at Landa’s Beach. Miss Dorothy Smith 0 ling at the home of Jf Martini street Wheobore Ty and Small uM of Cuero were identified among the drowned. The bodies were recovered and held pending an inquest. Nellie May ley of Houston was also in the party. Rescue attempts with pulmotars failed. Miss Smith had recently returned to San Antonio from Austin. Mr Smallley was employed by a creapyers company and survived by several relatives.
