Drowns Special: Searchers Press River Rescue Tragedy In Pleasanton
River searchers dragged the swollen Atascosa River Friday for a 15 year old youth believed drowned after attempting to rescue two other boys. Sheriff Henry H. Coward said Paul Lomthario Jr. was swept downstream as the youths Vernon Diggs and Kenny Anderson, both 14, were pulled to safety by onlookers. The boys reportedly fell in while playing on Adams Street Bridge.
