West French fete honors Clegg family at spring gala
About 200 guests attended a charity reception at the Clegg home in West French. Mrs Clegg hosted with Miss Rin Sege Prokop and Miss Jane Maverick, graduates of Ming tséne high school and St Mars's ball, respectively. The event featured decorated rooms, tropical plants, a diving ball on the first floor, a bazaar of gifts, and a plan for a May 25 show at Fort Sam Houston to raise funds for the Army circle of St Pauls guild. Notable attendees included Mrs. Clegg, Mrs. William Glegk, and many society members, with preparations led by Mrs. William Ladue and Mrs. George Plyer.
