Rest Cure Urged As Tuberculosis Cure By Doctor Moorman
Dr L J Moonan of Oklahoma City, retiring president of the Trideau society, National Tuberculosis Association, proclaims rest as the true cure for tuberculosis. He notes experiments with sulfanilanide derivatives and vaccines, but warns cures may take time and discusses historical misreads like tuberculin. He outlines methods aiming to rest affected tissues through procedures such as artificial pneumothorax and thoracoplasty, and explains TB often localizes in the lungs due to infection pathways.
