She charges he deserted her and their five children in Norway in 1928 and that through false affidavits he obtained a divorce in Chicago in 1928. He has since remarried. Norway is paying her expenses to come to America and pursue relief.
Judge W W McGrory ordered deputy sheriffs to bring 40 talesmen to court as only eight jurors were chosen from a 200 man venire for the Hunt Watson case tied to the St Anthony hotel robbery. Jurors named include Leidemeier Wein Jolnski and four more qualified amid political questioning by defense lawyer Spears. Watson jailed on bond default awaiting grand jury action. two others jailed in Bejar county awaiting action.
