Woons Spurns Challenge for Debate with Moody
Houston dispatch reports R L Henry of the Floaston Smith for President club challenged Governor Dan Moody to a joint debate on instructing the Texas delegation to the national Democratic convention. Governor Moody refused. Lynd Davidson, chairman of the Democrats of Texas alias harmonons group, declined to have Moody drawn into a crowd for Henry. Davidson said Moody would speak Friday on frank, blunt political discussion and criticize the harmonons group while exposing corruption and graft. Moody would also highlight Vermith's candidacy on screen, Davidson added.
