Detectives search for an unidentified assailant who Friday slashed Marvel Sanchez, 31, in a Matamoras street soft drink stand. Sanchez was stabbed in the left side, left shoulder and left cheek with a pocket knife after a fight with another Mexican who fled. Emergency officers and hospital staff treated him at Robert B. Green hospital. injuries not serious.
