A Friday night meeting at the St. Anthony board room will organize a campaign to raise 300 000 dollars to fund an International Exposition in San Antonio. General Joe Burke and two colonels lead Red and Blue divisions as workers prepare for April 6 to 9. The site near two railroad lines on Houston Street offers 190 acres and easy access, with broad support from the city and surrounding towns.

Race track site shift for exposition near Brackenridge Park
A $55,000 offer to the National Golf Association is stalled by a receiver but considered agreeable by bank officials. The new site is level avoiding excavation, making ground value less, and a one mile track is planned to attract top horses. The project would be deeded to the city as a year round park when not in exposition use, with upkeep arrangements similar to Brackenridge Park.
