Two Boys Held In Death Of Jack Kelly
Glenn Arthur Brough Jr and his younger brother Benny, both of Fruitport township, faced questioning by Sheriff Carmel over the slaying of 13 year old Jack Kelly whose mutilated body was found near their farm. A deputy said the elder boy admitted the Saturday morning killing after a fight at his house, saying he grabbed a hatchet and killed Kelly and then dragged the body to a swamp and covered it with saplings. Benny helped drag and cover but did not strike Kelly, according to officers.
