No Mail Stoppage Denied by San Antonio Postmaster

San Antonio Postmaster Cox insisted there will be no breakdown in service for a 30,000 square mile South Texas area despite union claims. He called grievances an internal matter and dismissed talk of a possible walkout, noting GAO ratings kept 97 percent or higher efficiency and a random 1000-letter survey supported speedy delivery. Union leader Diaz warned a walkout could occur if grievances remain unaddressed.
