San Antonio Housing Patterns in 1970 Census
This three part series presents San Antonio and SMSA housing data from the 1970 census. It reports 31 818 private homes valued at 14000 or more in the city and 49 968 in the SMSA at 15000 or more, with a median dwelling value around 11700 in the city and 12505 in the SMSA. It notes ownership, rentals, vacancy, and age of housing stock, including mobile homes and trailers, and flags a large share of old housing.
