Hunt Again For Cooper Hijacker Near Woodland Farm
FBI agents resumed the hunt for parachuting hijacker D B Cooper in a Woodland Washington area where he vanished 18 months ago. The Portland Journal said residents reported renewed searches as part of the ongoing Cooper case. An FBI official indicated the work may relate to a portion of the broader investigation. Cooper hijacked a Seattle bound jet on Thanksgiving Eve 1971, got a 200000 ransom, and parachuted away leaving no trace. Authorities have previously scanned the area across the Columbia River from Oregon without results.
