Patrick Saint and War Talk Split by Dust and War

In a brisk column, legends of St Patrick are recalled alongside wartime talk from Lloyd George and Clemenceau. It covers dust storms reshaping fertile lands, soil conservation plans, and the evolving use of weapons from axes to submarines. It ends with reflections on human ingenuity, heart health, and a surgeon’s daring save in Los Angeles.
