Bexar County to Start Polio Shots for 53,000 Children
Bexar County plans a new polio vaccination program for 53,000 first through fourth grade children starting the week of April 4 if the national Salk vaccine testing report is favorable. The city health department announced the thirteenth polio case of 1955. Linda Guerrero, a two year old girl, is treated for bulbar polio at Santa Rosa hospital. She is the child of Guadalupe and Mrs Guerrero of 3306 North St. Marys. The case ends a two week reporting gap.
