Chicago March 11 Acting Building Commissioner Robert Knight ordered the closure of two St. Agnes school operations after fire code violations were found. Inspectors also condemned three other buildings, including two public schools, for hazards such as locked doors and blocked exits, though the responsible parties escaped with only a warning in the end.
Prof B L Hewith Hig Dis uncovered a cliff dwelling near ClTE palace in Spruce canyon Colorado. The find is described as one of the finest examples of the cliff dwelling type ever found.

Louis Ramos a 22 year old barber living on Cameron Street was arrested by Police Sergeant William Knox on a charge of using abusive language and for seeking to have the Miss Castilla placed under police bond. The complainants Marie Castilla and her sister say Ramos persistently pursued the pair on Commerce Street and tried to escort them. Marie Castilla notified police after Ramos accosted them and their refusals led to threats discussed with a restaurant owner who informed the family. A county court hearing is expected on the charges including threats.
