A Reef, a Box, and a Yellow Shark Fight for a Marthy Ann
Steve recalls the Marthy Ann voyage with Captain Kennelly to Charlotte Harbor. A reef wreck, a stranded crate, and a ferocious yellow shark set the stage for a brutal struggle between man and beast as they battle aboard the reef and the boat. The skipper intervenes, halting a plan born of greed, while reflections on timber forests frame a later note on conservation and national value.
