Wage Floor Signatures Eyed in Referendum Drive
City Clerk Jake Inselmann weighs 8400 new signatures to force a referendum on a 125 per hour minimum wage in San Antonio. Rev. Clifton Byrd and Steven Harvasty presented the petitions, aiming to meet the 11 317 required valid electors. Inselmann has 10 days to rule on validity and whether to cross check against the 1866 or 1967 poll lists.
