Central Bexar Eyes Single Agency for Insurance
An informal session prior to the commissioners court discussed centralizing Bexar county insurance with one agency. County Judge Charles W. Anderson and commissioners favored the plan but will wait on a full report from County Auditor Edgar Garvey. The survey by Rabe Mathis and Rumsey urged one agency to receive 50 percent of commissions, noting nine firms wrote 130,000 on the Hebert B. Green hospital policy and lacked responsibility. It also found no coverage on the Robert B. Green property and recommended immediate coverage.
