Trustees Study Use Plan At Northside Schools
Trustees of Northside School District tabled a study on year round use of schools. In a special session Monday night the board voted 5 to 7 against immediate action on the report, with President Bob T. Beard favoring discussion. Trustee Ernia De Wine opposed discussion, saying it would cloud the issue. The district examined a 66-20 plan allocating 60 days of school plus 20 days off, a proposal residents strongly opposed to increase building use.
