Washington Feb 29 Major General Hagood was "railroaded" by the War Department over his WPA criticism, says Rep Blanton Democrat Texas. He accuses the appropriations committee and says Hagood wanted to strike his testimony from the record while pressuring for reinstatement. The White House says President Roosevelt stays hands off.
