Final Swimming Registration Set for San Antonio Youths
San Antonio youngsters may register for the Red Cross learn-to-swim program at Woodlawn and Roosevelt pools Friday from 9 a.m. to noon for the final 21 week session. Classes run Monday through Friday with boys and girls ages 4 through 12 divided into 4 to 8:43 a.m. and 9 to 9:45 a.m. periods. Laredo Nuns Injured In Auto Crash
Three Ursuline convent nuns in Laredo were treated at Santa Rosa hospital for injuries after a collision with a car driven by C. B. Polley. Polley, 62, suffered pelvis fracture and head lacerations. Manuel Barrientos, 26, sustained internal injuries. Nun victims Mother Cornilla, 59, Mother Mary Constance, 56, and Mother Anta Maria, 50, had various head, arm, and leg injuries.
