A San Antonio man, Airman J.C. Sanders, faces a death case and motions on suppression of evidence were heard in 175th District Court. Judge A A Semaan denied the motion to squash the indictment and will rule Monday on another suppression issue. Sanders is charged in a hit and run that killed Mrs. Alicia Borton and Miss Shirley Lupo on Highway 90. Detectives testified Sanders granted permission to inspect his car, but not his garage. Conviction on the hit and run carries up to five years, or one year plus a $5000 fine, or both. Sanders is also charged with murder with malice. He is free on $2,500 bond.
