Auto mobile Dealers to Vote on Sunday Closing Plan

Motor car and gasoline dealers will vote at a luncheon Tuesday noon of the Auto mobile and Accessory Dealers Association at the Travis Club on Sunday closing. Almost all city wholesale oil firms have announced plans to close and several gasoline stations will shut. An appeal for public cooperation to give Sunday off to gasoline and accessory shop employees was issued two weeks ago and owners were asked to tell dealers if they favor Sunday closing. If approved, the plan may take effect next Sunday or the following Sunday. Owners are urged to purchase Sunday gasoline Saturday or on a weekday. General sentiment favors the plan among owners and dealers, and all dealers are invited to the luncheon Tuesday.
