Colonel Wins Decoration From Mexican Army Ceremony
Lieutenant Colonel Trank L Chapa of the Southern Land Frontier Eastern Defense command received the Military Merit second class from the Mexican government in a ceremony led by General Julio Pardenas Blanca. The event occurred at the Southern Land Frontier headquaters, with local observers noting the unusual display. A separate Seattle market blurb recounts a humorous incident as Tony Traveill ran out of meat and staged a lamb skeleton in his display, provoking smiles from customers.
