Council Appropriates 250 500 For North Freeway Right Of Way
The city council on Thursday appropriated 250 500 to purchase 24 7 acres of land as the final right of way for the North Freeway extending to Loop 410 with Stewart Title Co as escrow agent for San Antonio Portland Content Co The action also approves a low bid 185 512 for sewer relocations on US 281 North to relieve a bottleneck on Northern Blvd and authorizes 84 000 for city share of lighting on IH 10 segment from Wurzbach to De Zavala Road plus a 135 000 grant with HUD for water system improvements in Model Cities area and a one year lease for 375 square feet at Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel for an outdoor restaurant at 300 yearly license approved for Alamos Guided Tours with 2 percent rental and a 8 523 payment for fire and extended coverage on San Pedro Playhouse for three years 15 418 000.
