Piggly Wiggly No 18 celebrates a remodeled larger store at McCreless Shopping Conley near New Braunfels with a two day grand opening. Contest offers a Chevy Nova convertible or station wagon with registration through June 30. Daily features include magician Little Hed Riley, Miss Dr Pepper plus Knowlton's Creamery, double S and N green stamps on purchases over 82.40. The 17 500 square foot store adds seven checkout lanes, new lighting and display shelves, open dairy cases, expanded meat and vegetable departments, a ready to wear and sports gear area, and a broader selection.
