Ranch Town Appeal Voted By Edwards Board
The Edwards Underground Water District board voted Tuesday to appeal a federal court ruling on the San Antonio Ranch New Town plan. Judge Adrian Spears sided with developers on locating the project over the Edwards Aquifer, which would serve 88 000 people. Plaintiffs attorney Ford Myer Jr. said the appeal has a good chance since the court ignored the claim that a site in Bexar County would be better. Citizens for a Better Environment and League of Women Voters supported the appeal.
