Prisoner Leaps From Moving Tram Near San Antonio
A white prisoner being transported from Arkansas to San Antonio escaped after leaping from a moving tram near the City Halls at 7 AM Tuesday. Deputy Millard supervised the transfer. Deputies and mounted police searched West End area by 3 PM with no recapture reported. The inmate allegedly exploited a moment when vigilance lapsed as the train moved briskly.
