County moves to sell old poor farm by relocating burial grounds
San Antonio officials order removal of all graves from the burial grounds beside the Jones avenue poor farm. The Zisik Undertaking Company will re-bury known burials in City Cemetery No. 7 and place unknowns in a common grave at the new site. The plan aims to raise funds for a modern county poor house and possibly a tuberculosis camp.
