Comfort Killing Suspect Held
Kendall County officials say a 19-year-old California man, arrested in El Paso with ties to the shooting death of Larry Olson, is tied to the crime after police found broad stains and spent cartridges in a blue and white 197 Maverick. Olson, an employee of the Meany Co. Credit Carpe, was shot in the head and abdomen and dumped in a ditch four miles south of Comfort. Investigators report the suspect’s car matched the description and say Olson was en route to papers or business when killed. Authorities expect to question the suspect further after a Sunday afternoon interview in El Paso.
