Pansy growing tips and seed bed advice

Pansies should be started now for best results. Engelman’s Special is recommended for large bronze and reddish blooms. Seed beds must be protected from ants, kept moist, and germination occurs in 10 to 12 days with careful light control. Transplant when true leaves appear, keep shaded initially, and prune to encourage bushiness.
