Soviet delegate says no secrets desired in atomic talks

The remark followed a report in yesterday's session of the 12 nation scientific advisory group on atomic energy. Report origins and disputes in Roosevelt Hull inquiry
The text details who wrote the majority committee report on Roosevelt and Hull, noting Seth Richardson and Kaufman competing reports, a youthful clerk's 250 page submission, and widespread ignoring of counsel. It compares probes from Pearl Harbor to the Roberts commission and emphasizes secret information still suppressed and the need to uncover it.

House Votes Atom Control House Votes Atom Control
The House approved a Senate amended McMahon atomic energy control bill by a 265 to 212 vote. It broadens military influence over nuclear power and moves to a Senate–House conference. The defeated motion would have killed the measure for the current session. The bill would require the president to name military representatives to the atomic energy commission and set military control over bomb manufacture timing.
