Max Autrey of 128 Harding Boulevard told reporters on Wednesday that a cloud of ten dollar bills fell from a windblown stack on Pleasanton Road as he drove home with friend Eugene Custer. They stopped to gather the money, found more, and returned part of it to a motorist named N Woods. Autrey said he later found a wallet with a photo and the name of a Normanville quartermaster, paid a reward, and kept twenty dollars, calling the experience the strangest thrill of his life.
